Theta Delta Chi (ΘΔΧ, Theta Delt) is an international social fraternity founded in 1847 at Union College. Common nicknames for our fraternity are Theta Delt and TDX. Unlike other fraternities, we refer to out local organizations as Charges and not the common nomenclature of chapter.
Theta Delta Chi is the eleventh oldest of the college fraternities. There are currently more than 30 active Charges and colonies of Theta Delta Chi located within the United States and Canada. For a complete list of the active Charges of Theta Delta Chi:
Our Penn State Charge is refered to as the Sigma Triton Charge. We are one of the largest and strongest Theta Delta Chi Charges.
